The generosity of the Canberra community continues to amaze us. We could not provide local at-risk youths with our 24-hour outreach support services if it wasn't for the compassion of businesses and individuals.
Today we share with you this morning's Canberra Times article that shows the charitable spirit of the ActewAGL who, in a profound act of kindness, will auction (through Allbids.com.au) a unique and rare selection of sporting and political memorabilia.
We are hoping to raise at least $10,000 from the auction so we can continue to help the hundreds of young people in Canberra who are homeless and hidden away in our capital.
We encourage you to jump online via the link below to view this collection of items which has been gathered over the past 20 years. Auction closes the evening of Wednesday 20th June.
We would also like to thank Paul Walshe from ActewAGL, Rob Evans from Allbids and Peter Gordon from Hands Across Canberra for giving YouthCARE Canberra this opportunity.
